Job Summary:
Kemper is seeking an Auto Appraiser Dispatch Clerk to work in our Cerritos, CA office. This position is a fast paced, in a high energy environment and is integral to the Material Damage Department. This is a growth role! Our Dispatch Clerk will assign work to staff appraisers based on pre-established criteria relating to damages and vehicle location. Manages dispatch log of all appraisals for the Regional Appraisal Group. This is a computer-based position that utilizes several software systems including Guidewire, CCC, Excel and Outlook. During high claim volumes, you may need to assist with phone communication and emails to customers. Position Responsibilities:
Retrieves information from various sources in a timely basis to organize initial loss information for dispatching via print, email, and other communications methods.
Assigns appraisals to proper staff depending on area, specialty, and pending volume as per instructions.
Will learn and/or use Kemper support systems such as Guidewire or CCC to manage claims, and support dispatching services for customers.
Dispatches work to appropriate staff or appraiser within one day of receipt.
Inputs dispatch data into the computer system in an accurate and timely manner.
Relays and inputs status messages and correspondence on the day received.
Receives and distributes incoming mail and inquiries received from appraisers on the day received.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Microsoft Office required
Insurance Claims knowledge a plus
Strong communication skills, well organized, detail oriented, and dependable
Must be able to deal with frequent interruptions and meet time deadlines
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
